Friday 24th May - walk ***** – Around Felixstowe – sunny and warm.

I just had enough time for a quick breakfast and do my exercises before we had to set off to walk around to pick Maeva up as we were having her for the day leaving home around ten. After a quick chat with Jay and play with her house pigeon we take the shortest route down to Lidl as Maeva falls asleep. We make it down to Felixstowe pier at 11.15 and its another nice mainly sunny day with light winds with light winds snapping a few pics for the TV weather. We our spot on the beach just past the Spa Theatre where we sit by the rock groyne sheltered from the breeze, there is even a toilet close by and luckily Maeva wakes up as I pull the buggy across the shingle. We love our time o the beach with Maeva even if she is joined at the hip to Mag, she loves a fig roll and quickly demolishes two and then we have fun with pebbles and shells, I also try to take some more pics of a large whelk shell in the small foamy waves. Then back through the spa garden where we enjoy one of Maeva’s favourite lunches, cheesy beans and toast. Mag has an old friend round for a cuppa and cake, then Maeva does loads of walking which is lovely to see:) We then walk Maeva home meaning we have walked over 6 miles today! After tea Mag spots a lady giving away a few terracotta flowers pots and were lucky enough to see them first so quickly drive around to pick them up. As we are out as sunset approaches we head down to the Ferry to see, nothing special so we head around to Maeva to pick up Mags watch which had found its way into the changing bag. Then home via the dock view point where we do catch the sunset and watch the big red ball disappear, there was quite a lot of people watching too, it is a scary place after dark with the hatch back gang there mostly leaving their Mc Donalds rubbish everywhere:(
